PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION: Poland, Poznań - min. 1 day a week in the office

B2B PLN 90 - 110 / Hour

*We offer a hybrid cooperation model, allowing you to balance office presence with remote cooperation. However, it's important to note that the role emphasizes a stronger presence in the office to foster teamwork and effective communication.

Scope of services:

Project Management

• Managing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Managing project timelines, scope, budget and priorities

• Identifying and managing project risks, dependencies and blockers

• Providing Agile leadership and supporting effective Agile practices

• Monitoring project health and key delivery metrics

• Supporting clients and teams in decision-making

• Ensuring clear project communication and documentation

• Continuously improving project management and delivery practices

Client & Service Delivery

• Ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery

• Building strong and trusted relationships with clients

• Managing client expectations and communicating project status, risks and changes

• Managing scope changes and finding the right solutions for both the client and the team

• Supporting project administration and reporting

• Building and staffing project teams together with internal stakeholders

• Coordinating sourcing and recruitment needs when required

Team Leadership

• Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes

• Supporting team members in their professional development

• Building a positive and collaborative team environment

• Helping resolve conflicts and remove blockers

• Supporting team performance evaluations

• Motivating team members and leading by example

AI & Modern Software Delivery

• Staying up to date with AI tools and trends relevant to software development

• Understanding how AI can change the way development teams work

• Supporting teams in identifying opportunities to use AI in their daily work

• Understanding the main risks of AI-generated code, such as quality, security and maintainability

• Working with technical teams and clients to introduce AI tools where they can bring real value

• Measuring the impact of new AI-enabled ways of working and adjusting them when needed

Here’s a set of skills we require:

• Solid experience as a Project Manager, Line Manager or Team Leader

• Experience working in the IT industry, preferably with software development teams

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery

• Experience managing timelines, scope, budget, risks and priorities

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• A relationship-oriented approach to clients and team members

• Ability to lead by example, motivate teams and handle challenging situations

• Good understanding of how software development teams work

• Interest in AI and modern tools used in software development

• Full professional proficiency in English and Polish

• Readiness to work on-site in Poznań at least 20% of the working time

• Readiness for international travel at least 10% of the working time

Nice to have:

• Experience in the financial industry

• Experience in blockchain projects

• Practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar

• Experience introducing new tools or processes to development teams

• Additional foreign language at a communicative level, e.g. Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or German
