About the role

In this area, you will cooperate with the number 1 company in the World of reinsurance – Munich Re. Supporting the best in their class means choosing the most modern technologies to fulfill their requirements.

We work in a DevOps approach culture: continuous everything, infrastructure as a code, you write it so you own it. We are in the Azure Cloud with modern architecture using AKS and different server-less apps.

How you will get the job done

• developing and maintaining the backend of the application using .NET 7/8, C#, or Node.js (Nest.js), depending on the expertise
• being responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• ensuring the best possible performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of applications
• implementing data storage solutions with SQL Server or other databases
• working with frontend developers for seamless integration and to meet end-to-end system requirements
• maintaining code quality, organization, and automatization
• working in an international Scrum team

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English and Polish
• experience in backend development using .NET, C#, or Node.js (Nest.js)
• strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software engineering principles
• knowledge of database design
• familiarity with front-end languages (for full-stack roles) and JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular
• proficiency in code versioning tools like Git and DevOps Tools like Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
• experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
• experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• communicative and open-minded person who is not afraid of challenges
