Senior Python Engineer with AWS

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Engineer with experience in AWS to join a project for one of our global Clients from the financial services domain.

In this position, you will be working on the development of a groundbreaking, AI-driven investment ecosystem/platform that revolutionizes the investment process by formulating an intuitive and human-centric design approach. This initiative transcends mere digitization, aiming to redefine investment decision-making with systematic, transparent, and intelligent solutions. The advanced AI-native platform will be meticulously designed to meet strategic needs, offering transformative capabilities for the investment landscape.

The position requires a willingness to work 5 days per week in our office located in Gdansk or Krakow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable back-end systems utilizing FastAPI and Python

• Implement security and data protection measures to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between different components of the application

• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner

• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and system performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

• Proven experience as a Back-end Developer with a focus on FastAPI and Python

• Hands-on experience with AWS

• Strong understanding of server-side logic and database management

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Generative AI Technologies

• Experience with Windsurf
