Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a proficient Senior Python Developer to join our team.

You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing various internal tools or creating new connections within our existing systems. Our tools are predominantly built using Python, with some incorporating SQL. Our team comprises around 20 engineers, evenly split between backend (BE) and frontend (FE) engineers and supported by a UX/UI designer. This role involves both development work and direct communication with customers.

The position requires visiting the office in Gdansk, Wroclaw or Krakow three days a week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance internal tools using Python
• Create new connections within existing systems
• Collaborate with backend and frontend engineers, as well as a UX/UI designer
• Directly communicate with customers
• Visit the customer's office three days a week
• Ensure the reliability and accuracy of the developed tools

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development, with proficiency in Python
• Experienced in unit testing
• Experience with end-to-end (E2E) testing
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2/B2+ level)
• Basic knowledge of Linux, including running a shell and executing scripts

Nice to have

• Intermediate SQL skills
• Experience with REST/RPC APIs
• Business Intelligence (BI) experience
• Familiarity with Google technologies
• Knowledge of Google App Engine
• Experience with CI/CD
• Knowledge of Google Protocol Buffers
