Senior Node.js Developer

We are looking for a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team in developing a complex iGaming platform using the latest web development technologies.

Please note, office work 5 days from EPAM office in Warsaw is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an internal iGaming platform
• Integrate and manage 3rd party API connections
• Work on creating new features from the ground up
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and roll out new features
• Analyze performance issues and enhance application workflows

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience with Node.js and Nest.js
• 5+ years of commercial experience in web development
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and the ECMAScript 6 standards
• Background in working with high-loaded SQL or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, and WebSockets implementation
• Understanding of TDD principles and experience writing tests
• Knowledge of microservice architecture principles
• Showcase of experience using GIT version control system
• Proficiency in RabbitMQ and Redis
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level

Nice to have

• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with CI/CD, microservices architecture, or containers
• Background in Kubernetes
• Familiarity with NATS
• Understanding of TypeScript
