Senior .NET Engineer with React and Azure

We are seeking a skilled Senior .NET Engineer with experience in React and Azure for our Client, a global leader in the area of banking, investment banking and financial services.

You’ll be working in the Global Banking team. The Team’s role is to provide technology support for the full range of Investment Banking and Capital Markets products. They help by building large-scale content management and messaging services, leveraging Azure and other Microsoft products.

This position offers a hybrid model of work, with 3 days per week working from the office located in Wroclaw .

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust applications using C# NET technologies, including ASP.NET and Entity Framework, following Microsoft best-practice coding standards

• Collaborate with distributed teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions for the Financial Services sector

• Apply object-oriented design principles (SOLID) to architect scalable and maintainable systems

• Build and deploy applications using Microsoft Visual Studio, GitLab Source Control, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines

• Develop and optimize solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure

• Implement and maintain web front-end features using React and TypeScript

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes

• Ensure code quality by adhering to best practices and, where applicable, writing unit and automated integration tests using a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach

• Support infrastructure automation initiatives using tools like Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code solutions

Requirements

• University degree qualification

• 5-8 years commercial experience (Financial Services preferred)

• Solid background in Agile/Extreme programming, and a history of working in a distributed (onshore/offshore) team

• Good grounding in object-oriented design principles (SOLID)

• Thorough expertise in C# Net technologies gained through formal education and hands-on development experience, ASP NET and Entity Framework

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure SQL Server

• Experience in Microsoft best-practice coding standards

• Proficiency in building and deploying applications, using Microsoft Visual Studio and GitLab Source Control, with GitLab CI / CD pipelines

• In-depth knowledge of web front-end technologies, particularly React and TypeScript

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as code using Terraform (Or similar)

• Proven capability in writing Unit and Automated integration tests in a TDD approach
