Senior Java Developer

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw or Krakow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications and REST APIs, following microservices architecture principles

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, infrastructure, and QA, to ensure seamless integration and delivery

• Own and drive key technical deliverables, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and secure solutions

• Apply best practices in code quality, design patterns, and security throughout the development process

• Manage source code using Git and related tools, ensuring effective version control and collaboration

• Support integration of cloud technologies and contribute to performance tuning as needed

  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Java/JEE development

• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Struts or similar frameworks, and JUnit for design and development

• Proven experience in building REST APIs

• Familiarity with microservices architecture, preferably using Spring Boot

• Strong understanding of Java design patterns, clean code principles, and quality development practices

• Knowledge of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signatures, SSL, JWT, Spring Security, web service proxies, firewalls, and multi-protocol gateways

• Experience with source code management using Git and related tools

• Experience with application performance tuning

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools

• Knowledge of modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular, and scripting languages like PERL or Bash

• Experience with cloud technologies, including MS Azure, AKS, AWS, or GCP
