Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join our financing division, contributing to brokerage services and financial instruments within a cutting-edge, cloud-focused transformation. You’ll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to solving complex organizational challenges and driving innovation on our next-generation platform.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wroclaw/Kraków.

Candidates who join by 31st of May 2025, will receive a sign-on bonus equivalent to one month's salary.

Responsibilities

• Provide a technical excellence example for a team of developers delivering software end-to-end
• Design, develop, implement, test, and deploy robust Java software components while applying best development practices, in line with agreed business requirements - work as part of an agile Scrum development team and collaborate with other IT teams globally
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide on architecture
• Triage product or platform issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Substantial knowledge of Java with 3+ years of experience
• Experience with Spring framework and Hibernate
• Familiarity with databases, with a preference for Oracle
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud services
