Senior Java Developer with Spring Boot

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join a team engaged in a multi-year technology initiative aimed at modernizing and enhancing a core platform utilized by financial advisors within the organization.

This position follows a flexible hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the office in Wrocław.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the strategic Field Technology solution, which serves as the core toolset for WMA advisors, support staff, and home office

• Collaborate with key segments of the technology organization, including other WMA development teams, Infrastructure Services, and QA teams

• Take ownership of and deliver key technical output

Requirements

• 5+ years of Java/JEE development experience

• Skills in design and development utilizing Java, Spring, Struts or a similar framework, JUnit

• Skills in building REST APIs

• Familiarity with Microservices architecture (Spring Boot)

• Understanding of Java design patterns, clean code principles, and quality-focused development practices

• Familiarity with security concepts such as authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature, SSL, JWT, Spring Security, web service proxies, firewalls, and multi-protocol gateways

• Background in full software development life cycle approaches, including both traditional waterfall and agile methodologies

• Proficiency in source code management using Git and associated tools

Nice to have

• Proficiency in performance optimization techniques

• Competency in DevOps systems and practices

• Expertise in modern UI frameworks like React and Angular, alongside scripting language familiarity such as PERL or bash

• Background in cloud-related technologies, including MS Azure, AKS, AWS, or GCP
