Senior Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our global Fixed Income Rates and Credit Markets Technology team.

You will work across multiple countries to design and deliver high-performance trading applications, enhancing existing systems and developing new features. Join us to contribute to a sophisticated, multi-faceted trading platform and advance your career in financial technology.

This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to work 3 days a week from our office in Kraków.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable Java applications for complex business challenges

• Develop high-performance components for Fixed Income Rates and Credit trading desks

• Optimize and refactor existing system components to improve performance and maintainability

• Lead user acceptance testing and demonstration sessions with key stakeholders

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications

• Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless system integration

• Support production rollouts and provide ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting

  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Java and Spring development experience

• Strong knowledge of low-latency, multi-threaded programming techniques

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and market changes

• Experience in financial services or trading platform development preferred

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

  
  

Nice to have

• Understanding of financial markets, particularly Rates and Credit bonds or derivatives with trading platforms such as Bloomberg and Tradeweb

• Familiarity with messaging systems like Apache Kafka and data serialization formats such as AVRO

• Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP
