Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer

EPAM is seeking a versatile Senior Full-Stack Java Engineer to join a long-term client engagement with a global leader in wealth management. The project focuses on delivering and maintaining technology solutions for investment, advisory, trading, digital client, marketing, and institutional advisory platforms. Our team is responsible for building and supporting end-to-end solutions, including web front ends, backend services, and integration components that enable investment advice, trading workflows, and digital client engagement. You will work in a managed-capacity, agile crew model, collaborating closely with product and chapter leads across international locations.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wrocław, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Java

• Build responsive front-end interfaces with ReactJS

• Architect and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Ensure scalability, security, and high performance of applications

• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in Java and ReactJS programming

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms

• Strong understanding of software engineering is the best practice

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools

• Familiarity with financial services or wealth management domains

• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments

• Experience working in distributed, multicultural teams
