Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java + React)

Join our team as a Senior FullStack Developer (Java + React) working on a large, global system that supports business operations worldwide. This system has a direct impact on the organization, making it a stable and critical project. In the long term, it is planned to be transformed into a microservices-based architecture hosted in the cloud, becoming part of a new infrastructure within the technology domain.

You will be part of a team dedicated to the development and modernization of a financial platform. We support various groups in the process of moving solutions to the cloud, while building the next-generation platform to address complex, enterprise-wide challenges. A key element of this transformation is the migration and development of the data store in the cloud, which will serve as a foundation for the organization’s future technology journey.

This role offers a hybrid model, allowing you to work three days a week from our office in Kraków.

Responsibilities

• Write and test product development code

• Apply core and advanced concepts to develop business solutions

• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide architecture

• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

• Triage product or platform issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality

• Challenge vague requirements to gain clarity and avoid costly assumptions

  
  

Requirements

• Strong software engineering experience in Java 8/21/22 on the back-end and React on the front-end

• Experience in building high-throughput and available microservices, REST APIs

• Experience with Kafka, JSON and caching solutions

• Expert in Spring Boot

• Understanding of design patterns and distributed system architecture

• Proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines and in the use of automation and orchestration tools

• Experience with system monitoring tools and an understanding of security practices related to cloud infrastructure

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, work with multiple teams to help deliver and spread understanding of cloud infrastructure design

Nice to have

• Experience with Security and Azure

• Good knowledge of continuous integration and deployment pipelines (Gitlab, Docker, Helm Charts)

• Working experience on deploying workloads using Docker and Kubernetes

• Working experience in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban)
