We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Financial Services team working with Google Cloud Platform. In this role, you will lead a team of System Engineers and DevOps professionals while advising on cloud migration strategies and serving as a key technical point of contact across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of System Engineers and DevOps professionals
- Overview and advise on the migration path for given applications
- Act as main point of contact for other architects and engineers
- Develop and maintain Shell scripts for automation
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
- Work with Google Kubernetes Engine for container orchestration
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform
- Configure Anthos Service Mesh and Istio
- Define and maintain networking firewall rules
- Create and manage Helm charts for application deployment
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or System Engineering roles
- Proficiency in Continuous Integration, GitHub Actions and Shell scripting
- Expertise in Google Cloud Platform, Google Kubernetes Engine and Terraform
- Skills in Anthos Service Mesh, Istio and Helm charts
- Knowledge of networking and firewall rules configuration
- Background in software development and/or architecture
- Experience in re-architecting applications for cloud and containerization
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good business acumen
- English level B2+
