We are looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our multi-versed team and contribute to the client’s success.
You’ll be working on key cloud strategic initiative to containerize and migrate heritage applications to AKS both in Azure and client’s data-centres.
You’ll be working in the Investment Bank engineering team based in London and Krakow. EPAM’s role is to provide oversight, support, and solutions to implement a strategic architecture for public cloud services. We help by sharing the architecture vision, working with teams on their solution design, creating code samples and documentation, and ensuring that the developer experience of migrating to the cloud within our organization is easy and enticing.
This role offers a hybrid model, with 2 days per week working from the client's office in Krakow.

Responsibilities
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Implement infrastructure as code
- Lead the migration and modernization of applications within cloud platforms
- Write reusable, high-quality code and maintain coding standards
- Create professional, comprehensive documentation
- Implement best development and DevOps practices utilizing various technologies
Requirements
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation
- Competency in CI/CD tools including Maven, Gradle, and GitLab
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration using Kubernetes, Helm, and Istio
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other major cloud platforms
- Understanding of Agile development practices including Scrum and Kanban
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and automating processes
- Capability to work independently and within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Fluency in English
Nice to have
- Solid background in software development using Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or Go
- Skills in scripting languages such as Windows PowerShell or Bash
- Experience contributing to open source projects on platforms like Github
