EPAM Data Practice is looking for Manager, Data Analytics Consulting with a strong Life Sciences background, who can help our customers create information strategies, design best-in-class data platforms, and support data-driven transformation of customer enterprises. Responsibilities
Engage with customer business stakeholders to discover Data & Analytics opportunities
Lead and challenge team members and customers to create great strategies and solutions
Map customer vision & requirements to specific products and components
Act as a data advocate and work to remove business, technical and political roadblocks
Mentor and coach clients and team members in data & analytics best practices
Manage consulting engagements, overall delivery and the quality of the output
Ensure the strategy is actionable and well documented for a clean handover to implementation
Assemble a team of EPAM analysts & engineers to delivery MVPs
Work with account managers to build and manage customer relationships
Design and drive stakeholder workshops & interviews to define and prioritize the client’s strategic and immediate needs
Work in close collaboration with Solution Architects and Technical Leads to design the solution that will meet the client needs to drive business value
Work with the business development team on proposals and pitches for new business
Respond to RFxs, create proposals and present them to our potential clients
Own and drive Data & Analytics presale activities in the Healthcare vertical
Requirements
7+ years of total experience in data and analytics domain
3+ years in management, delivery, consulting, or presales roles
5+ years in the Life Science industry or working with Life Science clients
Knowledge of one or more Life Science (e.g. clinical trials, R&D, Commercial, Regulatory & Compliance, etc.)
Experience in working with senior business and IT stakeholders, as well as end-users
Ability to facilitate and drive strategy discussion
Ability to participate in and influence solution design discussions
Solid knowledge of the data and analytics landscape and recent trends
Experience in end-to-end data and analytics project delivery as part of the team (for example, data lake, DWH, advanced analytics solutions, BI/reporting, etc.)
Excellent communication skills and dynamic presenter
Ability to manage customer expectations, present and explain project deliverables to senior stakeholders
Ability to frame a presales opportunity into a customer engagement
Primary career focus on some or all areas of Data & Analytics: Cloud Data Platforms, BI, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Data Science & Predictive Analytics
Experience managing medium to large-scale software/technology initiatives
A keen interest in and passion for the Data & Analytics space
Knowledge of Cloud, Data, Analytics, and Data Science technologies and trends
Desire to learn & expand your comfort zone whenever a new technological trend in Data & Analytics arises
