Lead Python Engineer (ML)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Engineer with expertise in Python and ML for our client.

It is a hybrid role for Krakow, Wroclaw, and Gdansk.

Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain open-source Python SDKs
2. Leverage a deep understanding of building and distributing Python SDKs
3. Translate existing Java libraries to Python
4. Write clean and efficient Python code
5. Collaborate with the team
6. Write unit and integration tests
7. Document implemented SDK features

Requirements

1. 5+ years of experience in Python
2. 1+ years of leadership experience in relevant roles
3. Deep understanding of building open-source Python SDKs
4. Experience with popular ML Python frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, and others
5. Ability to write clean, efficient code
6. Experience writing unit and integration tests
7. Strong collaboration skills
8. Advanced proficiency in English (verbal and written, B2+ level)

Nice to have

1. Experience with Java for library translation (translating code from Java to Python)
