We’re looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join a global leader in technology, known for its groundbreaking search engine and suite of essential online services used by billions every day. This role is part of a specialized engineering team dedicated to developing robust inventory tracking and management tools for large Data Centers.
As a Technical Lead, you’ll guide a talented group of 13 developers (Java, Angular, and Fullstack) and play a key role in the continued growth and innovation of the team. With a hybrid work model, you may enjoy the flexibility of working three days per week from the client’s office in Wroclaw, Krakow, or Gdansk.

- Helping the team members and resolving the obstacles/blockers
- Discussing with the US-based stakeholders the details of the assignments for the team
- The Technical Lead is expected to be hands-on and contribute to the project as an engineer
- Technical Excellence Development
- Review and Propose technical improvements in the system and processes
- Propose improvements in the systems to reduce the amount of failures and new defects
- Discuss the proposals with the Google stakeholders. Implement test & launch the approved improvements
- Measure the impacts of the improvements & publish the findings
- Feature Development ( change & transform)
- Participate in Feature development discussions
- Participate in development of new functionality
- 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- 4+ years of using Java
- 1+ year of experience in a role of a Technical Lead or Team Lead
- Previous experience of direct communication to the client
- Good problem-solving skills. A successful candidate should be able to analyze and break down problems independently
