We are seeking a skilled Lead Fullstack Developer to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-scale applications using Node.js and Angular, while ensuring optimal performance and delivering innovative solutions. This position requires strong leadership skills to guide a team of developers and maintain high-quality standards.
Please note that this role requires working from the EPAM office in Krakow or Gdansk for three days a week.
Responsibilities
Build, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Node.js for backend and Angular for frontend
Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for the development team
Ensure seamless integration of APIs, databases, and third-party services to deliver efficient applications
Lead and mentor a team of fullstack developers, ensuring code quality and adherence to project timelines
Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain consistency and quality across the codebase
Monitor and optimize application performance to enhance scalability, security, and speed
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the entire technology stack to ensure system stability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align development efforts with organizational goals
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in designing and developing front-end applications, microservices, and REST APIs
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or team management role
Strong hands-on experience with Node.js for backend development
Professional expertise in Angular for building frontend interfaces
Commercial experience with AWS services, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Firehose, DynamoDB, EKS, and CloudWatch
Proficiency in working with DynamoDB and PostgreSQL databases
Ability to analyze legacy applications and define target-state architecture and design
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and processes
Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken) at a B2 level or higher
