Junior Java Developer

You will be part of a core engineering team working on a major telecommunications initiative. The project leverages a modern tech stack — Java, Kotlin, Spring, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), SQL, Microservices, REST, Gradle, Git, React, and more — to power scalable, enterprise-level systems.

This role offers a hybrid model, with 3 days per week working from the client's office in Wrocław, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow under the guidance of senior engineers and mentors

• Develop, test, and maintain microservices using Java and Kotlin

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for assigned features and bug fixes

• Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with support from your mentor

• Contribute to project documentation and team knowledge sharing

  
  

Requirements

• 6+ months of experience in Java engineering

• Intermediate skills in Java and SQL

• Foundational knowledge of Spring, Kotlin, Git, and REST

• Basic understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• Passion for learning, problem-solving, and teamwork

• English proficiency at least at Intermediate (B1) level

• Willingness to work onsite in Wroclaw at least 3 days per week

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, TypeScript, Microservices, Gradle, or ReactJS

• Knowledge of Esri ArcGIS

• Previous exposure to large-scale, cloud-based systems

• Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours for collaboration with U.S. teams
