Guidewire Migration Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead the migration of the Guidewire Claims Center and Policy Center platforms from on-premises infrastructure to Guidewire Cloud. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Guidewire solutions, cloud migration strategies, and insurance industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design for migrating Guidewire Claims Center and Policy Center from on-premise to Guidewire Cloud

• Assess current on-premise architecture, identify migration challenges, and develop mitigation strategies

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Guidewire representatives to define migration requirements, scope, and success criteria

• Develop comprehensive migration roadmaps, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management plans

• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards throughout the migration process

• Oversee integration of Guidewire Cloud with other enterprise systems and third-party applications

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development, QA, and operations teams during migration and post-migration stabilization

• Document architecture decisions, migration processes, and best practices

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during and after migration

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect in Guidewire implementations, especially Claims Center and Policy Center

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud and cloud migration methodologies

• Strong understanding of insurance business processes and regulatory requirements

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

• Guidewire certifications are highly desirable

Nice to have

• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation in cloud environments

• Familiarity with data migration tools and strategies

• Ability to work in agile project environments
