Senior Python Developer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer to play a key role in building a Cloud Automation Platform focused on the orchestration and management of private cloud environments. As part of our team, you will develop and maintain backend services, integrate with cloud APIs, and contribute to a high-performance, scalable, and secure platform supporting enterprise-grade infrastructure.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the Cloud Automation Platform using Python.
• Build and integrate robust APIs to interact with private cloud service providers (VMware, OpenStack, etc.).
• Optimize platform components for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and front-end teams to deliver end-to-end platform functionality.
• Implement automation and orchestration workflows to enhance cloud management capabilities.
• Work with relational and non-relational databases to ensure efficient data handling.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and maintain high test coverage throughout development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to other developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to functionality and performance.
• Stay current with trends in cloud automation and contribute ideas to evolve the platform.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer.
• Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms and technologies such as VMware and OpenStack.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MSSQL for backend data storage.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker and container-based development.
• Familiarity with Celery and RabbitMQ for task automation and asynchronous processing.
• Proficient in using Git for version control and working in Linux-based environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Apache Airflow for orchestration of workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React or Vue.js for API integration.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and API gateways.
