    At Empirica, we are building software that changes how financial markets work. Our talented team of experts took that ambitious challenge and is doing great work every day to make a dream come true. 

    We are looking for an Integration Java Developer with a superpower who will love what we do as strongly as we do (or already love financial markets). You'll help us with the development of integration components connecting our trading platform to various cryptocurrency exchanges. In this role, you will be fully responsible for creating services in which key issues are complex messages and protocol flows concurrency, asynchronous message processing, performance optimization, and real-time processing of large amounts of data. Check below what technical skills we're expecting from you.


    Join us if you
    • have very good knowledge of the Java 8+ programming language
    • have knowledge and experience in issues related to systems integration
    • are well organized and goal-oriented person
    • know very well object-oriented and/or functional programming design patterns
    • understand Reactive programming principles and patterns
    • have knowledge and application of Clean Code practices
    • apply TDD practices on a daily basis
    • have communicative English

    Nice if you have
    • experience in integration frameworks like Apache Camel and/or Spring Integration
    • concurrent programming
    • knowledge of Eclipse Vert.x
    • programming using asynchronous communication, eg Apache Kafka, Redis, JMS
    • knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery issues
    • code optimization and system performance testing
