Software Tester

As a Software Tester based in Warsaw, you'll join a diverse community and work as a member of one of our cross-functional Agile teams responsible for the development of new products for Emerson's Reliability Solutions department!

You will be working on preparation of scenarios and test cases, as well as functional and performance testing of software used for vibration analysis of equipment in industrial installations. In addition, a Software Tester is expected to prepare and maintain lab environments and test stations!

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Requirements review, design test scenarios and strategies.

• Performing functional and performance testing.

• Preparation of test scenarios aligned with automatization software.

• Preparation and supervision of the test execution environment.

• Analysis of the found errors and creating reports on the performed tests.

• Cooperating with a team and supporting them with achieving team goals.

You are a proactive and diligent tester who excels in dynamic Agile environments. With strong communication skills and a problem-solving approach, you collaborate effectively across functions and continuously seek ways to innovate and improve testing practices. You bring structure to ambiguity and demonstrate resilience in the face of complexity. 

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation, Robotics, or similar fields is highly preferred

• 3+ years of experience on software tester position.

• Experience with Web-based application.

• Experience with API testing.

• Experience with Azure DevOps / Jira.

• Knowledge of software testing techniques.

• Communication skills.

• B2 level proficiency in English and Polish.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• ISTQB Foundation.

• Experience working in an Agile Scrum Team.

• Experience with a version control system.

• Experience with VMware.

• Knowledge of computer network.
