Project:
You will be working with a globally renowned company in the movie and television industry, which has been a pioneer in professional motion picture technology for many years and has become synonymous with high-quality camera and lighting equipment used in major productions worldwide. With a strong presence in Hollywood and international markets, this company continues to shape the future of filmmaking technology, maintaining its position as a leader in the professional cinema equipment sector.
Your role will be to support development of their next-generation products. Your main responsibility is going to be:
- Analyzing, preparing, describing and documenting the technical requirements based on specified internal business requirements/user stories,
- Cooperating and communicating with development teams, testers and architects to support delivery of quality solutions and schedule releases,
- Manage the structure of requirements, source documentation and mapping in the Requirements Management tool (Polarion),
- Ensure traceability and consistency of requirements derived from norms, standards and stakeholder specifications,
- Track requirements progress to ensure they are done, implemented and ready to release within the given timeline/schedule,
- Ensure quality consistency of requirements across features/components/projects,
- Manage the changes of requirements in relation with products, features, functionalities, versions and releases.
It is expected that you will bring following key skills and experience.
Required:
3+ years product engineering (or relevant) work experience with focus in the following areas:
- Experience in technical analysis, requirements engineering, planning and creating technical documentation,
- Proven skills in embedded C development, ability to effectively analyze and understand the source code,
- Experience in using tools for tracking the requirements (preferably Polarion),
- teamwork attitude, communication skills,
- written/spoken English C2,
- Technical education background: Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in IT/Electronics.
Nice to have:
- Polarion or Enterprise Architect workflow and process methodology
- Knowledge about hardware design, PCB, electronics, optics, product development and manufacturing
- Professional experience in technical areas related to the television industry, camera and/or lighting equipment
- Experience with component testing, Python, GitLab CI
- Written/spoken German
