We are seeking a VAT Data Analyst role is critical for analyzing VAT-related data within banking and financial services. The primary goal is to ensure accurate identification, mapping, and reporting of VAT data to maintain compliance and data integrity.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify and extract VAT data from complex banking datasets.

  • Map data from source systems to downstream processes.

  • Perform data cleansing and identify data gaps or inconsistencies.

  • Document findings and report to stakeholders with clarity.

  • Work confidently with internally developed systems.

Key Requirements

  • Strong Data Analyst background (5+ years preferred)

  • Proven experience working with VAT or Tax data

  • Experience in data cleansing and data mapping

  • Ability to perform data lineage analysis and gap identification

  • Strong documentation and stakeholder reporting skills

  • Financial Services / Banking experience

  • Experience with FATCA or other tax reporting regimes

  • Understanding of transactional bank data structures

  • Experience in regulatory or compliance-driven data environments
