TL - FullStack Engineer

Location - Hybrid Work Model:

• Candidates based in Kraków and surrounding areas – expected to work from the office 5 times per month

• Candidates based in Warsaw and surrounding areas – expected to work from the office 3 times per month (office located in Warsaw)

• Candidates from outside Warsaw and Kraków – expected to come to the office once per month, or 3 times per quarter (e.g. a single 3-day visit)

Summary

The role of the FullStack Engineer is critical for developing and maintaining robust API and microservice solutions that enhance customer experiences. This position champions the integration of new technologies and ensures that all development aligns with best practices and architectural guidelines.

Main Responsibilities

The FullStack Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of development processes.

• Create and update API/micro(nano)service design and documentation.

• Deliver quality code to support customer journeys.

• Embrace new technologies and champion their use.

• Review and sign off user stories written by BA and low-level design created by Tech Architects.

• Perform code review and ensure coding standards are followed and code is written in alignment with architecture principles.

• Resolve blockers for the developers.

• Maintain communication with tech architects and the management team to update on progress and blockers.

• Collaborate with Scrum Leads to ensure pipeline requirements are integrated into the workflow on time.

• Work with Test QAs to ensure all quality gates are applied to deliverables.

• Own and arrange code reviews with the management team.

• Create documentation for production support walkthroughs and release checklists.

Key Requirements

• Bash/Shell, Groovy or Java

• Unix/Linux experience

• Jenkins and GitHub proficiency

• Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Istio Service Mesh knowledge

• Experience with designing, building, maintaining distributed containerized platforms

• Experience delivering CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments

Nice to Have

• Experience in leading development team activities

• Background in architecture-related tasks

• Proficient in DevOps and platform engineering practices
