Tester Automation Engineer

Introduction & Summary:

We are seeking 2–3 dedicated testers to join our team for test automation focused on the ‘S-KIPilot’ project. The successful candidates will collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers, employing agile methodologies alongside a waterfall model approach to transition towards automated testing solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support testing applications developed within the ‘S-KIPilot’ project.

• Engage in test planning and preparation by analyzing requirement documents and creating test strategies.

• Execute various tests, including manual tests and automated test scripts.

• Document bugs precisely and provide tracking until resolution.

• Conduct non-functional testing for performance, security, and usability.

• Create and maintain automated test scripts to enhance regression testing efficiency.

• Report on testing outcomes to inform stakeholders about software quality.

Key Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in a banking environment.

• Experience with Banking/Sparkasse

• Proven ability to create comprehensive business cases, beyond typical user stories.

• Experience with agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.

• Fluent German (C1+) is mandatory.

Nice to Have:

• Basic understanding of AI use cases in banking.

• Knowledge of SOC2 / ISO 27001 compliance.

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
