Test Manager
Summary
The IT Quality Manager is responsible for defining, promoting, and implementing the Project Testing Model. The role involves managing a team of IS professionals focused on end-to-end testing and overseeing the Business Acceptance team for significant releases and smaller projects within the IT department.
Main Responsibilities
Key duties include:
Accountable for IT end-to-end testing of major releases/projects and providing input for project acceptance (GO/NOGO).
Pilots, evaluates, motivates, and coaches the Test Factory.
Implements the new IT vision under the Domain Manager to transform testing competence.
Leads and coordinates execution of Business Acceptance Testing.
Develops an understanding of the domain of internal customers to adopt an efficient testing strategy.
Defines, formalizes, and updates the Test methodology based on best practices and industry standards.
Key Requirements
Master's degree in IT or a related field.
At least 10 years of experience in an IT environment within a large company.
Minimum of 7 years in testing (tester, analyst, or manager).
2-3 years of experience in test management.
Nice to Have
Experience in test automation.
Fluency in French (great to have).
Other Details
The position is based in Belgium, Brussels. The manager will oversee an indirect team of 10 to 15 testing professionals and will report to the Domain Manager. The role involves participation in operational and management meetings at various levels.
