Due to continued growth, we are hiring a Test Coordinator to join our client in Dublin, and be responsible for structuring, coordinating, and overseeing all testing activities related to applications in development. The role ensures appropriate governance, planning, reporting, and documentation throughout the full delivery lifecycle.

You will manage and coordinate both System Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), working closely with delivery teams to track and resolve defects. The role also includes hands-on execution of functional testing and monitoring of all test activities to ensure quality standards are met prior to go-live.
A snapshot of your key responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive test plans
· Produce governance reports and maintain testing documentation throughout the delivery lifecycle
· Oversee and/or conduct requirements analysis from a testing perspective
· Review and approve test cases to ensure coverage and quality
· Coordinate accessibility testing and system testing activities
· Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide support to business testers
· Manage the creation, maintenance, and tracking of test data
· Liaise with specialist testing coordinators (e.g., penetration testing, performance testing)
· Maintain and manage defect and bug backlogs, ensuring prioritisation and resolution tracking
· Execute functional testing as required
· Monitor overall testing progress and report on risks, issues, and quality metrics
Requirements:
· Demonstrated experience coordinating testing across multiple phases of the software delivery lifecycle
· Experience creating functional test cases based on business and technical requirements
· Strong understanding of the full System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) from concept through go-live, from a testing perspective
· Experience using software project management and tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello or similar)
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nice-to-haves:
· Professional certification in Testing and/or Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB or equivalent)
· Experience working across multiple software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
· Experience in technical business analysis and requirements gathering
· Experience testing within the Microsoft technology stack, including PowerPages, PowerApps, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 / CRM
· Experience working on civil service or public sector projects
· Knowledge of the cybersecurity regulatory landscape (e.g., NIS2, CRA, CSA)
· Understanding of technical testing disciplines such as performance, penetration, or automation testing
