Test Automation Lead (Playwright / SDET)

You will act as a technical reference for test automation, with a strong focus on UI automation using Playwright. The objective is to design and structure a scalable automation approach and support its integration into the delivery lifecycle.

This role combines hands-on technical contribution, framework design, and team enablement.

🛠 Responsibilities

• Define and implement a test automation strategy (UI & API)

• Build and evolve a Playwright-based automation framework

• Support the transition from manual testing to automation-first practices

• Improve test processes, coverage, and documentation

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

• Act as a technical reference for automation within the team

• Support and guide QA team members in automation practices

🔧 Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright

• Solid background in test automation (UI / end-to-end)

• Ability to design and maintain automation frameworks

• Experience with CI/CD integration

• Good understanding of QA methodologies and test strategy

👥 Context

• Product delivery team in setup / transformation phase

• Mix of manual QA and early automation initiatives

• Collaborative environment with product and delivery stakeholders

• Some external support already in place

⏱ Key information

• Start: ASAP (ideal before mid-July)

• Contract: 6 months initial, extension possible

• Process: 2 interview rounds (fit + technical)
