Technical Recruiter
Due to maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our team for a 7 month contract. You will play a key role in sourcing, attracting and managing talent across a range of positions, working closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Our Sourcing team is the core of our business. This is where we ensure the right match between our clients' needs and the requirements of our consultants. From searching and finding the right candidate to ensuring that the IT Professionals profiles we provide to our clients reflect the high quality that emagine is known for.
This role requires the consultant to be based onsite in either our Cork or Dublin office weekly.
Main Responsibilities:
As a Technical Recruiter, you will own full-cycle recruitment for roles across technical disciplines, ensuring a smooth flow of candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Own full-cycle recruitment for roles across technical disciplines (IT, engineering, data, digital) and PMO functions (Project Managers, Business Analysts, Portfolio/Programme Support, Change & Governance roles).
Conduct thorough role scoping and job briefings to capture both technical and organizational context.
Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using innovative and compliant sourcing strategies.
Prepare high-quality candidate packs, CV summaries and competency-based assessment notes.
Coordinate and prepare candidates for interviews, ensuring a positive and informed experience.
Technical writing skills for the OGP Framework will be highly desirable.
Key Requirements:
5+ years’ recruitment experience across technical, IT, digital, or PMO functions.
Proven experience delivering recruitment solutions to both public and private sector clients.
Familiarity with OGP or similar procurement frameworks and associated compliance expectations.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strong competency-based interviewing and candidate assessment capability.
Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a structured, process-driven environment.
Expert knowledge of all interview, assessment and selection techniques.
Ability to conduct interviews to assess candidate role fitment and communication skills.
Knowledge of trends in the IT market.
Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build rapport with other people.
