Join Our Team as a Technical Product Owner for API Management Platform

emagine is seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Product Owner to lead the incremental design of our Kong-based API Management Platform. We are looking for professionals who possess a robust engineering or solutions architecture background and excel in technical communications within an agile environment. As part of our development team, you will collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and a technical writer to drive API community and stakeholder management. This role fully embraces a Scrum setup, ensuring that your skills and expertise are utilized to their fullest potential.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Technical Product Owner, your core responsibility will be to oversee the design and enhancement of our API management platform.

• Drive the incremental design of the Kong-based API Management Platform.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation, diagrams, and presentations.
• Engage with stakeholders to communicate updates and gather requirements.
• Write specifications for epics, stories, and tasks in a Scrum environment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development and DevOps teams.
• Manage the API community and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
• Monitor and evaluate API performance and user feedback.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of API product strategies.
• Participate in scrum ceremonies and agile meetings.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing and implementing API Management Platforms.
• Strong proficiency in creating clear and detailed technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience working in Scrum and documenting technical specifications.
• Technical knowledge of infrastructure, networking, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Hands-on experience with API security and management best practices (nice to have).
