Technical IT Support
Are you a hands-on IT professional who enjoys being the go-to person on site? For an international organization based in Amsterdam, we are looking for an Onsite IT Support Engineer who can make an impact two days per week in a dynamic and professional environment.
In this role, you will support local IT operations and act as the link between the onsite location and the central global support team. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing hands-on support for end-user workplace technology, including laptops, thin clients, and peripherals
Performing hardware-related tasks such as cabling, device delivery, setup, imaging, and resets
Managing local IT stock and coordinating storage activities, ensuring accurate asset tracking and availability
Acting as onsite “eyes and hands” in the technical room, including basic server and network support under guidance of remote teams
Coordinating with global support teams to ensure smooth integration and proper escalation of issues
Supporting ad hoc IT requests, including troubleshooting and resolving first-level hardware or connectivity issues
Proven experience in IT support or workplace management
Hands-on mentality with strong problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of hardware, networking, and end-user environments
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude
