Technical Architect

PROJECT INFORMATION:

• Industry: Banking
• Location: Hybrid work with office in Warsaw or Cracow
• Rate: up to 195 PLN/hour net + VAT, B2B

Summary: The primary objective of this role is to develop long-term technical architecture for hybrid cloud services and cloud strategy for the bank. The Technical Architect is crucial in designing and implementing technological solutions that meet the requirements of both the financial market and technology landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

• Building long-term technical architecture for hybrid cloud services.
• Developing and maintaining cloud strategy for the bank.
• Creating architectural roadmaps for the CTO domain.
• Designing technical architecture for systems implemented and developed within the bank.
• Analyzing the application of new technologies.
• Ensuring architectural integrity of solutions.
• Creating project documentation.

Key Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role on projects for banks/financial institutions.
• Practical knowledge of UML and ArchiMate notation.
• Familiarity with current technologies in information systems development (web, mobile, desktop, backend), including market trends.
• Experience in using design and architectural patterns.
• Knowledge of performance, stability, scalability, and resilience aspects of information systems.
• Understanding of licensing models for market solutions and their important aspects.
• Knowledge of various architecture models (Monolith, Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture).
• Knowledge in system integration (REST/GraphQL, SOAP, Event, OAuth2/OpenID/SAML).
• Familiarity with infrastructure, networking, and storage issues.
• English proficiency - B2 level.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Sparx Enterprise Architect.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases.
• Understanding of Cloud Computing service construction and migration from on-premise environments to cloud computing.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD) principles.
• Able to work in an interdisciplinary team as well as independently under pressure.
• Skills in self-improvement and innovation.

Other Details: The position is suitable for candidates open to hybrid work arrangements, with an emphasis on long-term commitment to developing the bank's cloud services and strategies. Candidates are expected to have senior-level experience within the banking sector, ideally between 2-5 years.
