Technical Architect (Custody Area)

Emagine is looking for a Technical Architect (Custody Area) to support one of our Nordic banking clients. The successful candidate will play a critical role in technical architectural deliveries, collaborating closely with program architects.

End date: 2027-06-30

Location: Stockholm (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Profile: The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Technical Solution Architect or Tech Lead, including the implementation of complex solutions. Experience in data architecture, API design, event-driven design, component-based and microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and security is highly advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of complex end-to-end solution architectures in collaboration with program and solution architects.

• Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

• Define architecture covering data models, integration patterns, APIs, event-driven flows, and user experience.

• Produce clear architectural documentation, including deployment flows, process descriptions, and models.

• Collaborate across multiple teams, business units, and geographies to ensure alignment and successful delivery.

• Work closely with infrastructure teams on networks, access management, and authorization topics.

• Support and guide development teams in overall solution design and implementation.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Technical Solution Architect and/or Tech Lead, delivering complex solutions.

• Strong background in modern architecture practices, including:

  • Data architecture and data modeling.

  • API design and integration patterns.

  • Event-driven architecture.

  • Microservices and component-based design.

  • Cloud platforms and security principles.

• Solid understanding of infrastructure-related areas (networks, identity & access management, security).

• Experience working with architectural frameworks, principles, and tools (e.g., Enterprise Architect, Archi).

• Proven ability to create clear documentation for both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience within SEB and knowledge of Custody, Investments, or Post-Trade domains.

Other Details:

The assignment will span multiple business lines, products, and organizational units, making it complex and impactful. The candidate will work closely with engineering teams and the infrastructure organization to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
