System Engineer (Storage)

Contract: B2B, long term cooperation

Work mode: 4 days per week from the Warsaw office

Business trips: to Denmark 2-3 times a year

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator with a focus on Object Storage and File Services, who can ensure stable operation, maintenance, and development of the storage infrastructure. You will be a central part of our Storage NAS team and will be responsible for implementing and operating our Object Storage and File Service platforms.

Your primary tasks:

• Administration and monitoring of Object Storage platforms (S3-compatible systems) and File Services.

• Operation and maintenance of Hitachi VSP One Object Storage and Hitachi HNAS.

• Implementation of best practices for data replication, backup, and disaster recovery.

• Performance tuning and capacity planning.

• Automation of operational tasks via scripting (e.g. Ansible).

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving in collaboration with other infrastructure teams.

• Documentation of systems and processes.

We expect you to have:

• 5+ years of experience with storage object/file service platforms in an enterprise environment.

• Solid experience in operating the Storage platform.

• Advanced knowledge of object storage technologies and file services.

• Experience with enterprise storage solutions (preferably Hitachi).

• Understanding of network protocols, security and storage architecture.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a structured manner.

• Ability to work independently and seek collaboration when needed.
