System Engineer for Legacy Application C/C++

B2B, 170 pln/h + VAT
mode: 3 days a week from the office in Warsaw

This role focuses on taking full ownership of the legacy application components, enhancing system stability, and leading initiatives for both regulatory compliance and overall improvement.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take end-to-end ownership of the 4450 / LETU and related components.

• Analyze and understand data flows, integrations, and dependencies across systems.

• Support mandatory regulatory or business-driven changes.

• Investigate and debug incidents.

• Package and deploy activities.

• Work across the C / C++ codebase, UI layers, and document templates.

• Drive knowledge consolidation through reverse engineering and structuring.

• Improve documentation and operational stability.

• Contribute to lifecycle decisions (maintain, modernize, or decommission).

• Engage in effort vs. value trade-off discussions with stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in C / C++.

• Experience with Scrum methodology.

• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CICD).

• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot.

Nice to Have:

• Domain knowledge of credit.
