Swift Developer with strong computer science foundations

We are searching for several talented Swift Developers with strong computer science foundations for a great consultancy assignment in Malmö!

Role #1

iOS Engineer – System / Daemon

System-level development, background services, and platform logic within iOS.

This role suits you if you enjoy understanding what happens under the hood and building stable

components that run reliably on hundreds of millions of devices.

Must have

• iOS development experience (Swift, Objective-C, or similar).

• Computer science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, architecture).

• Understanding of threads, concurrency, and asynchronous programming (e.g. async/await,

GCD).

• Ability to write robust, fault-tolerant, and efficient code for long-running processes.

• Strong communication skills and fluent English.

• Genuine curiosity about how Apple’s platforms work internally, frameworks evolve, and new

APIs emerge.

Nice to have

• Experience developing system services, frameworks, or daemons on iOS or macOS.

• Knowledge of security, privacy, encryption, or communication protocols.

• Experience with complex or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with Bluetooth or other low-level communication layers.

• Deep understanding of modern Swift concurrency (structured concurrency, actors, async/await).

Role #2

iOS Engineer – UI / Application Layer

App layer, user interface, and the interaction between client apps and background services.

This role suits you if you enjoy crafting elegant user experiences while maintaining an

understanding of how the underlying systems interact.

Must have

• iOS development experience (SwiftUI, UIKit, Objective-C, or Swift).

• Understanding of iOS architecture, data flow, and component structure.

• Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

• Basic understanding of asynchronous and concurrent programming.

• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for Apple’s platforms.

• Passion for design and user experience within the Apple ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI and modern UI patterns (MVVM, Combine, etc.).

• Knowledge of animation, accessibility, and performance optimization.

• Understanding of interaction between UI and background processes.

• Experience with build and test automation (CI/CD, Xcode Cloud).

• Duration: Long-term project (12 months contract + extension)

• Location: Malmö (5 days onsite)
