SRE DevOps Engineer (GCP)

🌍 Work mode: occasional office visits:

• Krakow and the surrounding area – 5 times a month
• Warsaw and the surrounding area – 3 times a month (office in Warsaw)
• Outside Warsaw and Krakow – once a month or 3x quarterly (if someone prefers to come once for 3 days).

Role description:

The role will focus around leveraging GCP capabilities in SDLC, focusing on high release cadence, zero downtime and home-built solutions to solving problems. The team is responsible for creating internal tools that automate and improve developers work efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering change to production daily.
• Building and maintaining distributed containerized platforms in production.
• Reviewing, designing and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance.
• Supporting knowledge sharing in the GCP space to help the whole team develop skills to support our infrastructure.
• Working closely with a globally distributed team to ensure round the clock support and development of our products.
• Later on, working closely with the wider development team and product owners to build solutions suited to business needs.
• Providing production support for the day-to-day running of the products you are building.
• JVM tuning and diagnostic for application troubleshooting and performance-optimization,

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge in GCP.
• Hands with Python and Groovy.
• Good understanding about Observability tools (AppDynamics, Datadog).
• Work on automations through Jenkins (Strong knowledge in Jenkins).
• Worked on infrastructure patching and vulnerability activity.
• Knowledge of REST architecture.
• Knowledge of Clean code principle.
