Software Developer – Camunda. Onsite Oslo, startup 05.01.2026
Summary: The main purpose of this role is to modernize the Nordic IT landscape by developing and improving the in-house TMF Service Order Manager solution using Camunda 8, directly influencing how fiber services reach customers across the region.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and Develop: Create scalable and reliable business processes (BPMN) and Decision Models (DMN) with Camunda 8 (Zeebe).
Implementation: Configure and implement Camunda 8 components, such as the workflow engine and related services.
Integration: Integrate Camunda 8 with existing enterprise systems and applications utilizing various technologies (e.g., REST, gRPC, messaging).
Consultation: Provide expert guidance on Camunda best practices, architecture, and process automation strategies.
Troubleshooting & Optimization: Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues; optimize current processes for performance and efficiency.
Expertise and Training: Assist other developers in understanding and enhancing their knowledge of Camunda 8.
Key Requirements:
Deep Expertise in Camunda 8: Proven experience with the Camunda Platform 8, specifically the Zeebe workflow engine, Modeler, and Operate.
Technical Proficiency: Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and PHP.
BPMN/DMN Mastery: In-depth knowledge and practical experience with BPMN and DMN.
System Integration: Experience with microservices architecture, GITLAB, Cursor AI, RESTful APIs, and message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively to different stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
Experience with cloud technologies and architectures.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).
