Type of contract: B2B, long-term coorpeation

Rate: up to 160 PLN net + vat/ hour

Role of Senior DBA is pivotal in supporting Oracle-based applications. Identified candidate will leverage their extensive experience to ensure operational excellence within the database environment. Key skills required include a deep understanding of Oracle Database management and operational integrity.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare prePROD environment to enable FSFO.

• Sync DataGuard in case of issues/errors.

• Rebuild Standby databases as necessary.

• Create database services and validate PDB Level Services.

• Manage the migration of old PDBs to new containers.

• Execute tests on prePROD environments ensuring switchover and failover.

• Patch at the database level and manage OS changes as needed.

• Handle RAC issues in conjunction with disaster recovery practices.

• Implement changes in production as required.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years of experience managing Oracle Database (12c to 19c), including RAC and Data Guard.

• Extensive Linux operating system experience.

• Proficient in Oracle management tools such as Data Guard, RMAN, and Data Pump.

• Strong understanding of architecture design principles.

• Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a collaborative environment.

• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate.

• Knowledge of storage systems and FSFO problem resolution.

• Understanding of change and incident management processes.

• Familiarity with Oracle SR and OEM architecture.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate processes and downstream databases.

• Familiarity with OEM matrices and handling.
