SharePoint Developer/Architect
emagine is looking for an experienced SharePoint Expert to support operations, management, and development of a SharePoint-based File Management solution (Filemaster) used across the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway).
The assignment focuses on providing deep technical expertise in SharePoint and Microsoft 365, supporting delivery teams, guiding solution development, and driving continuous improvements to enhance business performance and end-user experience.
Workload: ~20 hours per week initially, with potential to increase over time
Duration: 6 months initially, with an expected ongoing need throughout the year

The consultant will support the organisation by contributing extended knowledge and subject-matter expertise within the SharePoint/Filemaster area, supporting:
Ongoing operations
Management and governance
Development and continuous improvement of the platform
Support delivery teams within the area of expertise
Verify and cross-check technical reference materials, including user guides and system requirements
Ensure accurate and consistent technical representation before solutions are released to end users
Recommend and ensure appropriate technical solutions, policies, and software development requirements
Act as a consultant across business and IT delivery areas, providing mentorship and expert guidance
Apply subject-matter expertise when evaluating business operations and processes
Contribute to improving end-user experience for the specified services
Support development teams within the area of expertise
Evaluate organisational needs and determine suitable technical solutions using cross-functional knowledge
Ensure defined requirements are met
Drive continuous improvements and increased organisational efficiency
Identify opportunities where technical solutions can improve business performance
Assess whether technical solutions fulfil defined requirements
Minimum 6 years of experience within the relevant area of expertise
Advanced knowledge of business operations, development, and management within the area of expertise
Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language
Agile ways of working and basic ITIL knowledge are considered meritorious
Strong ability to recommend and coordinate technical solutions in cross-functional initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to take responsibility, lead initiatives, and drive tasks independently
3+ years of hands-on experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 administration
Strong knowledge of:
Site administration
Permission and access management
Sharing configurations
Version control and content services
Understanding of platform limitations and organisational security constraints
Experience operating with delegated permissions via SharePoint Administrator role in Entra ID (RBAC)
Experience in customised SharePoint solutions, including metadata-based file management solutions (e.g. Filemaster)
Development and maintenance of:
SharePoint web parts
APIs
Site templates
Middleware integrations
Solid understanding of the SharePoint technology stack and lifecycle management of both custom-built and out-of-the-box solutions
