Job description


emagine is seeking a Service Manager for a client within the construction industry to strengthen for its IT Security Operations (SecOps) function. The role is responsible for managing day-to-day security operations, coordinating with Service Managers across Digital Workplace, Cloud, and On-Premises environments, and ensuring the consistent and effective delivery of security services.

End: 2026-09-30

Location: Stockholm, 2-3 days/ week at the office.

About the assignment:

The assignment aims to improve operational efficiency, establish structured vulnerability management practices, and drive initiatives that enhance the organization’s overall security posture. The Service Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to align processes, manage security incidents, support compliance requirements (particularly ISO 27001), and lead continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily SecOps activities and ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Establish and maintain structured processes for vulnerability management.

  • Strengthen collaboration across Digital Workplace, Cloud, and On-Premises service areas.

  • Initiate and drive improvements to the organization’s overall security posture.

  • Integrate DevOps practices into security operations where relevant.

  • Provide regular reporting and status updates to stakeholders on security operations, improvements, and compliance activities.

Required Competence and Experience

  • Leading or managing security operations in medium to large organizations.

  • Vulnerability management, incident management, and log management.

  • Microsoft security technologies and detection services.

  • Coordinating cross-functional teams across infrastructure, cloud, and workplace environments.

  • Driving initiatives that improve security maturity and operational effectiveness.

  • Supporting and implementing compliance frameworks within IT SecOps, particularly ISO 27001.

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Strong expertise in the Microsoft security ecosystem (e.g., Defender suite, Sentinel, Entra ID).

  • Experience with detection and monitoring platforms (SIEM / SOAR).

  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools and processes.

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and their application within SecOps.

  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 controls and compliance activities.

  • Excellent communication in Swedish and English, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience in cloud security, particularly Azure and/or multi-cloud environments.

  • Knowledge of additional regulatory or compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR).

  • Experience with ITIL or formal service management frameworks.

  • Understanding of OWASP, secure development practices, or application security.

  • Experience working in multinational or distributed organizational environments.
