Senior Test Manager

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop test strategies at a large scale.

• Lead test teams across various projects to guarantee consistent, quality delivery.

• Establish KPIs, quality gates, and reporting mechanisms suitable for executive levels.

• Facilitate the adoption of automation, CI/CD integration, and modern tools.

• Identify quality risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies.

• Engage with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to ensure aligned quality outcomes.

• Champion process improvements and advocate for lean testing and shift-left/shift-right methodologies.

• Oversee test plans, cycles, defect management, and release readiness.

• Mentor and coach to enhance the wider test teams’ capabilities.

• Communicate effectively to influence senior stakeholders and convey quality insights.

Key Requirements:

• ISTQB Advanced or Expert certification.

• Proven experience crafting test strategies for large-scale projects.

• Experience in leading test teams across multiple projects.

• Expertise in governance and reporting with a focus on KPIs.

• Knowledge of automation and CI/CD integration.

• Strong risk management skills.

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across various domains.

• Commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes.

• Skill in overseeing comprehensive test planning and execution.

• Excellent communication capabilities for senior stakeholder engagement.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).

• Familiarity with performance and security testing.

• Background in software engineering or test automation development.

Other Details:

This Test Manager will be needed onsite 2 days a week in the clients Swords office.
