Due to continued growth, we are hiring an Senior SCCM Engineer to join our client in Dublin. Our consultancy specializes in providing business and technology services to clients in all sectors.

You will be responsible for the design, implementation, optimisation, and support of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM) within an enterprise environment. The role focuses on secure, automated, and scalable endpoint management, including software deployment, OS imaging, patch compliance, and integration with modern endpoint technologies such as Intune and Autopilot.

A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

·       Lead administration and optimisation of the SCCM/MECM platform, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability.

·       Design and maintain SCCM architecture including site hierarchy, boundaries, and distribution points.

·       Manage end-to-end software packaging, testing, and enterprise deployment.

·       Own Windows patch management strategy, compliance monitoring, and remediation.

·       Build and maintain OS deployment task sequences for Windows 10/11 imaging and upgrades.

·       Support device lifecycle management including provisioning, refresh, and decommissioning.

·       Integrate SCCM with Intune in co-managed environments and support modern workplace initiatives.

·       Act as L3 escalation point for complex platform and deployment issues.

·       Produce technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

·       Support security and compliance initiatives through configuration baselines and endpoint controls.

Requirements:

• 5 - 10 years’ of enterprise experience with Microsoft SCCM/MECM

• Experience with MS SQL Server

• Experience supporting medium to large enterprise environments.

• Proven track record delivering endpoint deployment, patching, and platform optimisation initiatives.

• Strong experience in Windows 10/11 deployment and management

• Application packaging and deployment (MSI, EXE, PowerShell)

• OS imaging and task sequence development

• Patch management and WSUS integration

• PowerShell scripting and automation

• Active Directory and Group Policy

• Experience in highly governed or security-focused environments advantageous.

Desirable Experience:

• Microsoft Intune and co-management configuration

• Autopilot provisioning

• Azure AD/Entra ID integration

• Defender for Endpoint and security baselines

• SQL reporting for SCCM

Opportunity type: Initial 6-month contract, Hybrid in Dublin
