Senior React Native App Developer

Summary:

The Senior React Native App Developer will take the lead in developing a new mobile application to enhance waste management operations across municipalities in Denmark. This role is vital for ensuring the application meets modern standards for usability and communication between municipalities and citizens.

Responsibilities:

• Take technical ownership of the development of a new RenoWeb mobile application.

• Design and implement a cross-platform mobile solution using React Native.

• Establish the complete mobile application development setup from the ground up.

• Integrate the application with existing REST APIs.

• Collaborate closely with backend teams, product stakeholders, and other project participants.

• Ensure high quality, maintainability, and scalability of the solution.

• Drive technical decisions and contribute to architecture discussions.

• Support continuous delivery and agile development practices.

Key Requirements:

• Solid experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Experience with publishing, versioning, and maintaining applications in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Strong understanding of both iOS and Android, including differences in UI, performance, and platform-specific modules.

• Experience with REST API integration and close collaboration with backend teams.

• Ability to take technical ownership, drive decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery.

Nice to Have:

• Experience mapping existing applications and analyzing current technical and UI/UX states.

• Knowledge of Swift / Objective-C and/or Kotlin / Java.

• Experience working with public digital solutions or other business-critical systems.

• Knowledge of MitID.

• Insight into the waste management sector, utilities, or municipal IT systems.
