Senior R2R Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA + FI/CO

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Senior R2R Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling to lead and deliver end-to-end finance transformation projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys solving complex business challenges, and is passionate about leveraging SAP technology to optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, customizing, and implementation of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes in SAP S/4HANA across multiple industries.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Drive workshops with stakeholders to define future-state finance processes.
• Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (OTC, P2D, Tax, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
• Provide guidance on Universal Journal, Group Reporting, Cost Accounting, and Central Finance capabilities.
• Support data migration, testing, training, and hyper-care activities.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Conduct workshops for finance teams on new processes.
• Prepare test scenarios and scripts for SIT and UAT.
• Stay current with SAP innovations and advise clients on best practices and roadmap strategies.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of SAP Finance experience, with at least 2 full-cycle implementations in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of R2R processes, financial close, and reporting requirements.
• Experience in SAP Product Costing.
• Work style: Able to work independently; self‑driven and proactive.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Support integration with satellite systems… POS, OMS, PSP.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Group Reporting and SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance is highly desirable.

Other Details

Preferred locations include US (near Bethlehem, PA), Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Availability to travel is up to 60% if the candidate is not located in one of the preferred locations. Onsite presence in the STG office will be 3 to 5 days a week for candidates near Bethlehem, PA.
