Senior QA Specialist

Working mode: Remote

Summary

The primary purpose of the Senior QA Specialist role is to ensure the quality of a product that is process-driven, emphasizing end-to-end business workflows rather than solely focusing on features or the user interface. This role is crucial for maintaining operational stability and performance over time.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and execute scenario-based functional and regression testing.

• Validate end-to-end business processes (including happy paths and edge cases).

• Maintain and evolve a risk-based regression test suite.

• Validate behavior that is specific to various scopes (such as country, process, and rule differences).

• Verify the correctness of data, outputs, reports, and integrations.

• Support and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.

• Act as a quality gate for releases, providing Go/No-Go input.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience testing business-critical, data-heavy systems.

• Proven ability to think in real-world operational scenarios.

• Comfortable testing rules, workflows, dates, validity, and exceptions.

• Experience working with configuration-driven behavior.

• Ability to write clear test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and test evidence.

• Experience with regression testing in evolving products.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps tools including backlog management and defect tracking.

• Familiarity with modern UI test automation tools like Playwright.

• Basic SQL skills.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of AI tools for generating test scenarios and data variations.
