Summary: The Senior Policy Engineer role focuses on enhancing the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) platform for Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance, involving coding skills in Python and collaboration across various regions.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the modernization of architecture by building new microservices.
Collaborate across global teams located in China, India, Poland, and the UK.
Design and implement complex business rules within the CDD platform.
Utilize strong Python programming skills to implement business logic.
Resolve issues with REST API and ensure data validation using JSON and XML.
Proactively engage with stakeholders and follow up on requirements.
Must Haves:
Availability to work in a global project/team with cross-region collaboration.
Strong business communication skills (clear written and verbal).
Strong self-driven ownership and proactive follow-up with stakeholders.
Experience in designing and implementing complex business rules.
Solid Python programming skills, including implementation of business logic.
Experience using REST API and resolving issues.
Knowledge of validating data using both JSON and XML file formats.
Understanding of Github Copilot for scripting.
Nice to Haves:
Experience in international/distributed teams.
Familiarity with rule engines, workflow systems, or domain-driven design.
Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and test cases.
Understanding of programming principles (Java).
Experience with decision trees (design, implementation, and optimization).
