Senior OutSystems Developer (REMOTE)

As an OutSystems Developer, you will work within a team of top engineers passionate about delivering high-quality software and be involved in the design, build, and test of the mission-critical systems that support the amazing growth of this outstanding company.You’ll have the responsibility for solution architecture, development execution and operational support of applications that are part of a larger ecosystem. Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of applications using OutSystems technology

• Create and maintain scalable and efficient code while following best practices

• Finish all assigned tasks with quality within the defined timeline

• Develop solutions following OutSystems development best practices, ensuring solution performance and user adoption

• Develop integrations with external systems according to the defined architecture guidelines

• Executing the necessary troubleshooting and bug-fixing

• Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing your expertise and knowledge

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the OutSystems ecosystem

Key Requirements:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a team

• A strong understanding of Agile development methodologies

• Experience with database management systems like SQL Server

• Customer Orientation and Interpersonal Skills

• Transparency and ability to establish trust and supportive relationships

• Web application development and project delivery practices

• Understanding of solution architecture and web application performance

Nice to Have:

• 4 or more years of professional experience developing with the OutSystems Platform

• OutSystems certifications

• Experience with OutSystems Reactive Web and Responsive Design

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

• Knowledge of database systems, such as SQL

• Experience with integrating third-party APIs and services.

• Professional experience in web application programming other than OutSystems is valued

• Architectural principles and Integration knowledge using AWS and Azure-based services are valued

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Academic achievements valued

• Fluency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory
